About Michael Gadd

Pairing 20 years of experience as a performing and recording guitarist with formal study, Michael Gadd brings perspective, professionalism, and polish to musical pursuits.

Michael, equally comfortable on stage or on a session, has performed in album production studio sessions alongside the likes of Grammy-nominated artist Nigel Hall (Tedeschi Trucks Band, Warren Haynes, John Scofield) and performing artist / producer Alan Evans (Soulive, Blue Note Records).

Having earned his undergraduate degree with honors in Music with a focus on performance and studies spanning composition, audio engineering, and improvisation, Michael is ready to help you take your musical projects to the next level.

Michael’s lifelong passion for media and technology has led him to work for category-defining organizations, from Apple to Cisco, from Guitar Center to Dolby.

Outside of music, whether he’s hiking through the Andes in Argentina, eating a Snickers bar at the summit of Mt. Rainier, riding through the East Bay hills on his motorcycle, shooting hoops at the local park, or catching some sunshine in his Berkeley, California backyard, Michael enjoys spending as much time as possible outdoors.
